A HUGE thanks to all that showed up! what an amazing gift that over 20 people showed up and we sorted / organized clothes in less than 2 hours... Strength in numbers and it was great to see everyone connecting, talking and kids playing! This Friday at 3:30 we will start setting up the tables with clothes for Saturday's event. Saturday am. we will be there at 8:30 to open up and make sure all is set. The good news is that a woman from northern VT who works for 211 is going to take all our leftovers because she says that there is a big need up north. It makes a difference every step of the way. If you transferred, sorted, helped or spread the word - You are amazing! I am again, honored, to be part of such an organization.
ps. we will be doing a Holiday basket for Thanksgiving , we have the turkey, generously donated by Missy Reece( Stratton) , and will collect a basket labelled
Heartworks at Maple Street.
December Meeting is December 13th at 3978 rte 30 Dorset, VT , 4:00-5:30 - - we will talk about December's opportunity, which may be the community sharing project.
and begin talking about January's First annual Kids Heartwork's talent show ( Fundraiser) which will be run by some teens. Get your kids thinking about their "ACT."
